The fact that I listened to it for hours , tried to sing this but can t remember the lyrics makes it creepy for me. P.S. Usually if I hear something enough times Iremember it.

During the early part of the last campaign I was in, our DM tried to set up a False Hydra encounter by playing this music. Problem was, I was quite a fan of this song, and listened to it on Spotify quite often. He was barely able to play the first three notes before I caught on to what he was planning.

This makes me think of making a D&D campaign where prior to the campaign I ask the players biggest fears and once everyone gets to know each other and go through a few regular quests they get hit by a trap that separates them to spots where enemies who best suit the player’s fear approach calmly, the players aren’t far from eachother so they can quickly reconvene and confront their fears as a group, but they notice the person they have been with since the very beginning of the campaign (which is a Fantasy variant of myself as a Dragonborn) is not there,while the players notice that there’s a false hydra of extreme size approaching (not of attractive features pervs) them calmly with a single eye in the middle of their torso watching every single movement. They notice the person trembling in absolute silence, petrified by fear and overwhelmed by the extreme level of stress that is being presented, because this Dragonborn has secret knowledge of the unknown, or what was once unknown. The secret knowledge the Dragonborn learned was of creatures who can only be seen by the blind, be heard from the deaf, and known by the forgotten… there was one creature that shook the Dragonborn to the very core, The False Hydra. A key thing to note about this campaign is that the fear they have of these apostles of fear are directly related to the size of their physical size, (for example a small fear of spiders would result in a black widow spider coming towards them. Still enough to pose a threat but not a severe one) and as you can infer The apostle for the Dragonborn’s fear of being forgotten is the one creature that can erase everything about the traces of who someone is… the apostle of Athazagarophobia, the extreme fear of being forgotten… any attempts to console the Dragonborn are ineffective as the Dragonborn continues to speak draconic and any who understand draconic will end up hearing “it has come for me and I cannot escape, my complete end is here and there will be nothing left… I will end up becoming nothing more than a fade in the wind, My death is here and it has come for my soul, perhaps the forbidden knowledge I had learned about has come to erase the logical traces of who learned of the forbidden’s presence. I don’t want to be forgotten please don’t erase me from existence” the last sentence repeating infinitely as the severity of how much the fear affects the calm and collected; in any situation Dragonborn, begins to settle in for everyone. The false hydra having sadistic pleasure in seeing a being that normally wouldn’t know of its existence being so afraid just by its mere presence. The smug and sadistic False hydra enjoying the fear that emanates from the Dragonborn’s complete and utter fear. The hydra enjoying every second of the Dragonborn’s emotional suffering as it begins to think of ways to run into other sentient beings with the same levels of knowledge as the Dragonborn, perhaps by dropping forbidden knowledge at seemingly random spots gathering the attention of well known and influential figures to later enjoy the fear… the sadistic enjoyment and thoughts being repeated aloud for all to hear. As the Dragonborn realizes that the only option left is to fight he begins to tell absolutely everything he knows about the false hydra and the others they face to take them down, The final stand against everything that has caused the irrational fear of the party being the only thing stopping them from reaching higher states of livelihood and enjoyment from life. As the false hydra observes it begins to hum its lullaby to commence the final battle against the apostles of fear. Success or not the campaign ends with everyone who survived the encounter waking from a magic barrier caused by a sadistic lich who laughs at their suffering, however before the dream ended the Dragonborn knew of the phenomenon where victims would fall into a collective unconsciousness to face their fears, after noticing a vial that contains a rampaging black soul within the dream the Dragonborn tossed it into the pocket of ____ (whoever the main leader of the party is who is still alive.) the one thing that only the victims can use to settle the score with the bastard who caused the suffering of the people inside these dream dimensions, the only physical object that can be retrieved from the dream dimension. As the lich notices the vial it begins to panic, then the words that the Dragonborn said prior to waking up are repeated in the survivors’ minds “Destroy it”. End campaign… man that was a solid 1hr of writing that, damn

Edit: I just read the description, it is all good, it's a dead language anyway, so any usage is good usage. The false hydra in lore mimics speech anyway so it is kind of expected to not understand or care for things like gender cases or rhyme, so that just makes this creepier, which is also cool. I like that you're using Latin, which adds mythical elements to things. There are a few things I noticed after pausing for a moment, which might be incorrect. I didn't read into it in detail so I might be wrong, this is just from my memory of Latin lectures in 1st-year uni, trying to make the song rhyme even more. should it be "somnum liberum penitium" or "somnos liberos penitios" instead? using singular or plural consistently. then instead of "mater venatibus", it should be 'venatas matris' as in to be hunted by mother, where the gender needs to be consistent. since the hunt is admitted by the mother, mater needs to be in the genitive case. I was thinking back to my Latin prof saying that you get to rearrange word orders to make rhymes in Latin and almost everything rhymes when you use the cases and declensions correctly.
